: To use Kali you MUST update the tracker to 192.107.41.17:2213 in your KALI.CFG or in the program!
In mid-2013, Jay Cotton removed the ability to purchase a Kali serial. However, the same trial serial is given out to all users. You can use this key on the official tracker with no issues, but you will need to run a crack for Kali 2 to remove the nagging screen. Download the trial serial here.
: You can replace Kali95.VXD with KaliIPX.VXD from Kali 2 for versions 1.0 and later. Same with KOMMIT, KALINT, and the DLLs EXCEPT GAMESTUFF.DLL!
iFrag is one of the precursors to Kali. Written by Scott Coleman with help by Jay Cotton. iFrag was released after iDoom. iFrag expanded support from Doom to Heretic and Hexen. After iFrag, Kali began development. iFrag still works today, but you will have to host a server using IFRAG.EXE -NOTRACK -SERVER. For Clients, use IFRAG.EXE -NOTRACK -CLIENT <IP ADDRESS>. Default port is 5029 which MUST be open on everyone's router! If anyone finds the tracker software please email me.
iDoom is the original Kali. Written by Scott Coleman with help by Jay Cotton. Later, iFrag was released which expanded support from Doom to Heretic and Hexen. After iFrag, Kali began development. The Internet Doom Client/Server software is an early version of the lobby concept. To use idoom, extract to your doom directory and edit your WATTCP.CFG accordingly. Run IDOOM.EXE -NET <NODE # YOU WANT TO BE> <IP ADDRESS OF OPPONENT>. Can work with Heretic if you copy your Heretic.exe and rename it to doom.exe.
